Having graduated in Architecture at Milan in 1985 with a thesis supervised by Arch. Marco Zanuso, comprising a project for the Academy’s Bridge which was chosen at the Biennale Competition, Venice 1985, she then took a diploma at the IED, the Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano (“European Design Institute, Milan”).
Since then she has worked professionally, with her own studio in Biella, for both public and private clients, carrying out local development, urban regeneration and renovation projects. She designs furnishings, shops and fittings both in Italy and abroad.

From 2000 to 2007 she was the artistic director for the Serralunga collection, for which she was listed in the ADI Index 2004. She is currently in charge of artistic direction for Borella and Bitossi and designs for companies in the furniture sector. Alongside her professional activity, from the very start, she has been involved in initiatives to promote design quality.

She was President of the Ordine degli Architetti di Biella della Delegazione Occidentale (“Association of Biellese Architects of the Western Delegation”) - Piedmont and Aosta Valley - of the ADI.. She is currently the national President of the ADI – Associazione per il Design Industriale (“Association for Industrial Design”). She is a member of the Consiglio Italiano del design at the Ministero per i Beni Culturali (“Italian Design Council - Ministry of Culture”).
